Etain are proud to announce that our latest Kentico web development, www.irelandsancienteast.com is now live!
First and foremost we’d like to extend our congratulations to Fáilte Ireland for all their hard work and effort in what is set to be an exciting addition to Ireland’s international appeal, and secondly for being an absolute joy to collaborate with on this exciting project.
In its premier form, the Ireland’s Ancient East website already features a great range of custom features, not least the chance to delve into the island’s rich cultural past through virtual tours (we’re particularly fond of the The Shell House @ Curraghmore House) and the chance to explore the East using the interactive map, but with so much more to come in the months ahead.
Based on Ireland’s unequaled tradition of storytelling, outstanding folk heritage and rich, historical wonders irelandsancienteast.com has been designed to entice and invite visitors from all corners of the globe to uncover exactly what the East of this ancient island has to offer.
From the world heritage site of Newgrange in the north of the region to as far south as Cork’s maritime gateway the website offers a range of itineraries to suit all time budgets. Whether you want to marvel at ancient monuments, retrace the footsteps of prehistoric man, experience the grandeur of stately homes or discover for yourself just what attracted the Viking raids, Ireland’s Ancient East caters for those on a whistle stop tour as well as those with more time to delve into over 5,000 years of stories.
Congratulating the team Etain’s Managing Director Martin Goss commented:
From the initial UX workshops to the development of the brand toolkit and the website build itself it has been a fantastic journey for all involved. Having worked closely with the Fáilte Ireland team and developed what we’re confident is a great and lasting relationship, we’re excited to see Ireland’s Ancient East really gaining traction and enjoying the attention it deserves. Well done to all involved so far, and we look forward to the next phase!
