Smart Start Scheme Launches
March 5, 2018

Etain are launching an educational software developer scheme designed for ambitious, technically curious, university students.

Applications are now closed.

Those awarded the placements will work on real projects with our expert teams while they undertake a part-time BSc Computing Systems with Ulster University at Jordanstown. By the end of a 5-year study path, participants will have gained incomparable industry experience and be ready to enter the market a step ahead of the competition.
Working in partnership with the Ulster University, Etain are offering two positions, where you will gain the technical skills, soft skills and commercial experience necessary to launch into a successful tech career. What’s more the scheme will provide invaluable practical support, covering all university course-costs, a full-time salary and a permanent contract of employment. Full details of the scheme are available on our Smart Starts page.
On why we’re offering this exciting opportunity, Jill Wilson, HR manager for Etain says:

“We believe in nurturing talent and giving students a holistic training experience of real experience and academic foundations.  The employment market for IT skills is increasingly competitive so we want to grow our own talent and shape the technical experts who will be at the core of our smarter software delivery in 5 years’ time.”

So if you’re hard working, ambitious and ready for an exciting career in IT, the Smart Start Scheme could be a major step in the right direction for you. Check out our Smart Start information and application process here.
